Interesting facts about me

I began collecting G.I. Joes way back about 1971 when I was a kid, until I lost interest right about the same time the original Hasbro line petered out c. 1976. Luckily my mom kept my stuff in storage, and my younger brother did only minimal damage when he got into it a few years later. Fast-forward to 2003, when I rediscovered the world of 1/6 action and retrieved the old A.T. Joes from mom's garage. Since then I have amassed a considerable collection with a specialty in U.S. Marines c. 1917-1953 and, of course, female *hot* action figures. My favorites are Miss Fear, and the Lady's Mission and Girl's Mission series from Aoshima / Skynet. I am thrilled to meet so many like-minded enthusiasts here on Yuku and only regret that it took me until now (Nov. '08) to find you!

    I use paint.net it's free and layers are blindingly simple to do. Most of these have a similar format but the two I purchased were unnecessarily difficult to use. I'm not real familiar with your program but I'll try to help. If I can. I know I can with you download paint.net Let me know. I probably won't be able to much tonight and will travel home to be with my family tomorrow, but we can get together online next week if you like.

    Aha! I did use paint.net before, and I recall it was pretty easy to figure out. I just need to reinstall it and relearn what I have forgotten since my computer got wiped a while back. So, thanks for the suggestion and the offer to help.

    Larry, the funny English is quite convincing, but no use; I know it's you! You should have created your profile here as "Miss Fear", like the one on Flickr.
